Just locked up our empty building. It's the end of an era and the start of a new. Thanks everyone for all the hard work put into moving! Next service will be September 11th at Park Place Assisted Living, 6900 37th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118.

[04/07/16]   A few announcements in advance of our next two worship gatherings (which Rev. Glenn Alden has graciously offered to preside over) -

1) The first service (4/10/16) will be a regular Sunday service (with a children's talk followed by adult sermon). Glenn will also continue our tradition of facilitating congregational sharing after the service, and offering opportunity for prayer requests.

2) The second service (4/17/16) will be a collaborative opportunity we're calling: "A Journey Through The Psalms." There will be eight lessons from the Psalms by different readers, interspersed with eight different unique songs sung by the congregation. This will be a family service.

If you would like to help with volunteer for either (or both) of these service, please contact volunteer coordinator Will Righetti.

We hope you can join us for what promises to be uplifting worship with guest minister Glenn Alden!

Blessings,
Ethan

Join us at LFL 10:30 am this morning as we celebrate the promise of new life that is the Easter story! The service will open with a procession led by the children offering flowers and non-perishable food to be donated to Rainier Valley Foodbank (www.rvfb.org).

“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.’” (Luke 24: 5-7)

In commemoration of Good Friday, we will be reading through the account of the betrayal, arrest, and crucifixion of Jesus at 10am this morning. Jesus said: "You would have no power over Me at all unless it were given you from above." (John 19:11)

Join us at 7pm this evening, as we contemplate the Last Supper the Lord shared with the disciples. Jesus said, "I have fervently desired to share this Passover meal with you before My suffering begins." (Luke 22: 15)

Join us this morning at 10:30 am for our Palm Sunday service, featuring a palm processional led by the children. "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest heaven!" (Matthew 21: 9)
