Valley and Mountain

Valley & Mountain is a new spiritual community/church in the Rainier Valley of Seattle, Washington

Our mission is to build a radically hospitable community, rooted in grace, that practices deep listening and creative liberation.

We have two Celebrations (aka services) each Sunday at 11am and 4pm. As well as many other ways that we gather that may be found on our website: valleyandmountain.org

We celebrate the diversity of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, primary language, and spiritual identity in our community and our neighborhood and strive to create an inclusive environment.

An alternative, progressive Seattle church | Valley and Mountain

valleyandmountain.org

We did it! Thank you for this phenomenal affirmation, community! The symbolic fundraising thermometer blew it's top as we've now raised $10,760 from 68 donations to help us at Valley & Mountain and the Hillman City Collaboratory to reach our $10K goal, and end 2016 in strength! I'm bursting with gratitude at the abundance that comes from real community, generous spirits, and a willingness to make sacrifices for love and justice. Here's to a great year ahead. It's a wonderful feeling to announce this news on the same day that we've launched our totally redesigned website (https://valleyandmountain.org/). It's gorgeous thanks most of all to the generously donated talents of site-builder Seamus Holman of Gridwork Design, graphic artist Dave Andresen, and others (Andrew Wheatley and Jon U to name a few). Check it out, and send me feedback!

valleyandmountain.org Valley and Mountain Fellowship is an alternative, progressive church in Seattle. Rooted in liberation theology and mystical practice, we embrace all people!

Some big gifts brought us up to $9,400 towards our $10K goal! So so grateful. This is a co-created endeavor-- even 3 year olds are taking up brooms to sweep the sidewalks and clean out the alleys. We are very close to our goal now-- Can anyone out there help us cross the finish line?

Hi Community, did you know we had an end of the year giving campaign going? Thanks to all of you who have already given and shared this with your networks. We've raised $5,900 toward our $10,000 need to fulfill our 2016 financial obligations. Please consider sharing this with others or making a year end gift to help us keep supporting change makers, building community, and walking alongside people in the journey toward spiritual maturity and radical hospitality.

End of the Year Letter from John

us2.campaign-archive1.com I hope this letter finds you having a restful last few days of the year. While fully aware of all the hard work in the year to come, in this season I am basking in the glow of the Christmas story. The dazzling darkness of that night. The presence of God in the tender, unknown, and unexpected. For me...
