Join us on Sundays @ 10:00 am and for our prayer meetings Wednesday @ 7:pm.
Shorewood Foursquare Church is a member of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. We are a charismatic, kid-friendly church with contemporary worship, inspired Bible teaching, and a wonderful family atmosphere. Our church life centers around five separate dynamics found in the early church as revealed in Acts 2. We at Shorewood are committed to: Worship, Prayer, the Word of God, Loving each other, and Being Otherly (bringing God’s Kingdom to those outside the walls of our church).

Special Financial Assistance Matching Fund for Moy Family
As some of you may know, the Moy family has been going through a difficult medical situation. Their oldest son Jack, who is a fourth-grader at Shorewood Christian School, was diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases in January: Ulcerative Colitis (a form of Irritable Bowel Disease that attacks the colon) and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (liver disease). For the last year, Jack has undergone extensive treatment at Seattle Children’s Hospital and is currently a patient of the hospital’s GI and Hepatology Clinics. Since Jack’s own body is attacking his colon and his liver, he is required to take 19 pills a day, undergo monthly blood work, appointments, and scans, and will eventually need a liver transplant.
To add to this challenge, the Moy’s medical insurance is only covering a portion of his treatments and medications which have put a huge strain on the family’s finances. Jack (and his brother Blake in second grade) love their Shorewood Christian family and would love to stay at a school that not only supports them but encourages them to walk with the Lord. If you would like to help the Moy family during this difficult time, Shorewood Christian School, along with Shorewood Foursquare Church, has set up a special financial assistance “matching fund” to which the Moy’s school family and church family may make tax-deductible contributions. All donations received will be used to match future tuition payments made by the Moy family (thus doubling the impact of their payments). Please make your checks payable to “S.C.S.” (or to “Shorewood Foursquare”) and put “Matching Fund” on the memo line (do not put Jack’s or the family’s name on the check).
A friendly reminder- Folks, don't forget to bring your Operation Christmas Child boxes back this Sunday (No later than Monday)! We will delivery them sometime next week. Don't miss out!
Light under the Bridge New Ministry, Every Saturday Morning
Light under the Bridge will continue in new ministry. From 9:30- Noon, this new ministry is going out delivering homemade sandwiches to the Seattle homeless wherever they may be found. Jon is in need of Cup-o-Noodle donations to hand out. For Thanksgiving, Jon is going to hand out Turkey Sandwiches. He needs some help on Friday morning, November 25 to make turkey sandwiches in the Shorewood kitchen. Sign up at the back of the sanctuary to help, or call Jon Meer for more information at (206) 779- 4263.
Join us in collecting Thanksgiving dinner food items to help 10 under-served families at Mt. View Elementary. During a season when we celebrate God's Blessings, it is important to remember those who are in need within our own community. Please go to the back of the sanctuary to sign up for a food item. There will be 10 collection boxes each representing one of the families where the food items will be gathered. Delivery of the Thanksgiving Day Meals will be made on November 17th before noon. Thank you for your support!
